I am not a huge fan... it sucks to use with refular toothpaste... so idk if it MUST be used with the whitening only, but that was specified. Though thats what all the marketing shows, so I should have realized. And I got it bc I dont like flossing, which was the first thing the person said on the video that made me purchase it... buuuut you still have to floss... lmao! Its not a miracle brush and doesnt go in-between your teeth. And its so bulky, I have to pull my cheek out to get it on my back teeth. I do like thst it reverses the spin. Other than that... I hate that I bought it.
I really loved the illume brush; however, the metal tip got pushed too far in and now no longer will reach the brush head in order to make it rotate. This is really frustrating because of how much I loved using it! Even my dentist said that my teeth and gums look super clean and very healthy! I have 4 stars because of how much I loved it but took 1 star off because there’s a chance it might not last very long.
I purchased an illume toothbrush kit online, received it on September 19, 2026, and started using it right away. I had a follow-up dental appointment on October 6, 2026. Only after my check-up and cleaning did I tell my dental hygienist that I hadn't been flossing and had been using the illume toothbrush exclusively for about 3 weeks. She was amazed and told me I had almost no plaque, no bleeding gums, and stable pocket numbers. I pulled up the illume information on my phone and showed it to her. She immediately started spreading the word to the other hygienists in the office. Thank you, illume, for a fantastic and effective product.

I found that this did not work at all to clean under my gums as though flossing and also was unable to clean my teeth in any real, sufficient manner. My mom felt the same exact way. I genuinely don't understand what all of the 5 star reviews are about..
I also pleaded to return for a refund due to it but "the policy" says it has to be unopened and unused. Essentially, making a refund impossible once the customer finds out the brush is trash. 😫
There’s a learning curve using this toothbrush. Getting the toothpaste to get on the bristles and stay rather than it building up on the back part of the toothbrush that holds the bristles in place. Brushing the surface of my teeth, particularly my molars, I’m not sure if the toothbrush is actually getting in the crevices of my molars to clean them. Any suggestions?
One of the best products I have purchased in a long time. It actually does what it advertised. My teeth feel great and look really good. If I had one complaint it's not the best toothbrush when cleaning your tongue but that's ok I just used my traditional toothbrush for that. I still give it an A+ and 100%
I like the concept the only complaint I have is, it's so large to where I can't fit it in the back of my mouth to get my molars. So I have to use my Sonic toothbrush.
It makes my teeth feel super clean and I like the 2 speeds.
If I knew how large it was I wouldn't have bought it.

It's a good quality toothbrush. When I initially came upon it the pink one didn't exist yet so I thought before I commit maybe when I come back a pink one may be available and just my luck it's a pink one and it's a black owned business.💗 love it
After using this product for a reasonable period of time, I have not noticed any meaningful difference in performance compared to more affordable alternatives. The presentation is nice, but the results do not justify the higher price. Overall, it did not meet my expectations in terms of value.
I like the brushing experience.
But the battery life is awful. It basically has to stay plugged in all the time… and seems to be meeting charge after one brushing
There should be a longer battery life so that it doesn’t always have to be plugged in.
Also, the on-off switch is too sensitive so that when you pack it in a bag and it hits the side of the bag, the brush turns on and it’s in your pocketbook or suitcase in the back of the car. The switch should be less sensitive so that it is not turning on during traveling and when you don’t want it to be on.

Hey, Im still trying to get to know my new pink oral friend. The speed is not as fast as I would like, or I’m not pressing the correct button. The small Manuel that came along with it is too small to read. After using my teeth feels great, and I love the nice taste and lather of the purple toothpaste.
The best cleaning toothbrush I've ever owned. It's extremely powerful and thorough. Plaque removal skills are superior on this product. I especially like the two-way turn.
